STL Warehousing can arrange for Extended Warranty options for shipments with our carriers.
The Extended Warranty is simple and is provided directly by our transport carriers. If you request and they agree to provide you with Extended Warranty for the carriage of your goods then we agree to deliver the goods in the same condition that the goods were delivered to us. If the goods are lost whilst in the care of the transport carriers they will pay you the value of the goods to the amount of Extended Warranty you have elected, or if the goods are damaged whilst in their care they will pay you the reasonable cost of repair up to the amount of Extended Warranty you have elected.
The Extended Warranty is for physical loss or damage and does not include consequential loss.

Which Extended Warranty option suits my needs?
Choose from the following options for domestic shipments:
Automatic Transit Warranty (ATW) - available for Domestic services only. For convenience you can elect to have Automatic Transit Warranty on your Domestic consignments simply by selecting ATW on your Account Rate Agreement. The following ATW options are available:
Unless you have previously elected to have Automatic Transit Warranty (ATW) applied to the consignments of your goods, you must elect whether or not you want ATW by completing the appropriate section of the Account Application and Rae Agreement. If you elect to have ATW applied to the consignments of your goods an extended warranty charge will be levied on each consignment. If you have previously elected ATW then the extended warranty charge will continue to be levied on your consignments. The maximum value for ATW is $1000.00
If you have agreed to extend the warranty for carriage of the goods then we agree to deliver the goods to the location identified on the order in the same condition that the goods were delivered to us and further agree that if the good are not so delivered we will pay the value of the goods, or if the goods are damaged the reasonable cost to repair the goods. Our liability to you is limited to the amount of the extended warranty shown on the front of the consignment note. The maximum value for which we will extend the ATW warranty is $40,000.00. The extended warranty is only for physical loss or damage. The extended warranty does not include failure to deliver the goods or damage to the goods caused by mechanical derangement or latent defect. We are not liable for any form of consequential loss.
ATW is not available for returned goods or domestic pre-paid consignments.
